PRO SUS has been on this territory for more than 30 years, but doesn’t live of memories: today PRO SUS is a modern Company, looking at the future, ready to face the new challenges of both national and international markets.
From the anatomical cuts to the ready to cook products and the cured hams, the range of products that we offer can answer the needs of both the processing industry and the final consumer. PRO SUS indeed collaborates with the most famous names of the cold cuts industry, but also with the large-scale retail trade, with private label and PRO SUS brand products.
D.O.P. Parma Ham is one of our most excellent products: every day we supply fresh hams to the most important producers of Parma Ham on Italian market, but we also send a large amount to our maturing factory in Langhirano (Parma) on the Emilian Appennine.
Every year more than 120.000 Parma Hams are slowly maturing in accordance with the best tradition, but with the support of the technology that also in this plant allows us to ensure the whole traceability of the supply chain of each one of those inimitable hams, that have recently entered the USA market too.
The range of our products is completed in our plant in Castel d’Ario (Mantova) for the processing of products for the large-scale retail trade, such as in tray MAP packed, pre-cooked and frozen products.
In 2015, the Company has decided to improve the quality with the launch of the new PRO SUS Brand lines: ‘Premium Skin’ and ‘Premium Frozen’, in order to offer innovative products in their recipes and packaging (vacuum skin, genuine as tradition and, like all our products, strong in a 100% Italian supply chain.
Since we do not stop at words, we have decided to put our faces and to show the breeders and their farms, and concretely prove the real Italian origin of our meats.
This is possible thanks to modern technologies and computer systems allowing us to follow all the processing steps, from slaughtering to packaging. All this information is collected in a QR Code printed on every pack of the Premium Line. You simply scan it with a smartphone or tablet and get instant access to the web page showing the face of the farmer and the farm where the pigs have been bred.
