Its cooperative nature allows ProSus to always have the entire production chain under control, with
the intent to make the most of the work of the members who breed and give the pigs and who are
the social base of the company itself.
Located on a territory with a purely agricultural vocation, ProSus has always invested in respect for the environment,
on the improvement of production facilities and on the sustainability of production.
To expand and improve the offer, ProSus has invested to optimize its plants,
facilities and production methodologies, obtaining important certifications (IFS, BRC, export U.S.A. and Japan,
to mention the main ones), improving control over the entire production chain and the traceability of its
products, through all the processing phases, from breeding to slaughtering, from the cold chain
to logistics.

VISION
ProSus has always made the processing of pork of Italian origin its main business.
What distinguishes it in this sector is the traceability of its supply chain,
from breeding to the final product: only Italian pigs bred according to the regulations
of production of D.O.P Parma and San Daniele, conferred for the most part by
breeders associated with the Cooperative. For this reason ProSus
is able to guarantee the 100% Italian origin of the animals supplied by third parties.
The cooperative nature and the guarantee of 100% Italian origin are the great
added values of each ProSus product: the highest quality for the end consumer, without
forgetting the needs of members and employees, in the greatest
respect for the environment.
